A large work in seven books covering cosmology, the prophets, the rulers of Persia, Arabia and the Malay world, and ethics. Nuruddin al-Raniri began it in Aceh in 1638 at the request of Sultan Iskandar Thani. Parts of it are a key source for the history of Aceh.
